Tiffany Haddishย was tested a dozen times before learning sheโd contracted COVID-19 (coronavirus).
The comedian shared her experience in a recent video interview with the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,ย Dr. Anthony Fauci. Haddish said she was working on a film when her co-star had come down with the disease, prompting production to be put on hold.
โI was working on a movie and someone in the movie contracted coronavirus,โ theย Girls Tripย actress told Fauci. โI was not in direct contact with them, but they sent all of us home, we stopped the movie. They suggested I go get tested. I got tested, got the results back two days later, they said I didnโt have the coronavirus.โ
Despite โnot feeling any symptoms,โ Haddish said she tested a second time and her results were negative. After quarantining at home with her dogs in the interim, the 40-year-old said she got tested again with similar negative results, but tested another time for antibodies and those results came back positive.
She added, โThat was three months ago, Iโve been tested 12 times now because Iโve been working and everything."ย
"Then I get tested again, no virus, and then I had them test me for antibodies again, and then they said I don't have any antibodies," the comic said, quipping, "So I think I'm superhuman."
