Lots of people got free Slurpees at 7-Eleven on Monday. But one couple went home with something a whole lot better: A lady in West Virginia named Allie Sayers gave birth on 7/11 . . . AT a 7-Eleven.
She was supposed to have a C-section on Wednesday, but the baby wouldn't wait. So she and her fiancé jumped in the car around three in the morning.
They didn't make it to the hospital and had to pull over in a 7-Eleven parking lot. So that's where she gave birth, and her fiancé had to help deliver the kid. Their two other children were also with them.
Luckily, everything went fine. Their new son Waylon clocked in at 6 pounds 8 ounces, and he's doing great. (If only he'd been 7 pounds 11 ounces!)
The store changed their sign outside later on so it said, "Congrats, It's a Boy." (Shout-out to whoever spelled "congrats" wrong initially.)
The company is also giving Allie and her fiancé free coffee for the next SEVEN YEARS.
