Our news partner KCRG-TV has informed us that students can now earn a fast-track Nursing Degree from Mount Mercy. Typically it takes 4 years or more to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, now incoming freshman can earn the degree in 3.5 years. Professors want their students to be as efficient as possible. That includes the quality of care given and the time spent studying for courses Faculty at Mount Mercy hope it will help ease the shortage of nurses across the country. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing said many baby-boomer era nurses are retiring and the need for health care is growing
