Our news partner KCRG-TV 9 has reported that 6 year old Jeg Weets of Morrison, Illinois will serve as the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital Kid Captain for the final home game at Kinnick Stadium this season. The Kid Captian program is in its 11th year of operation. The Hawkeyes are looking to avoid a trap game after very emotional win on Saturday over then ranked 7th Minnesota Golden Gophers. They game will kickoff at 11a, as of right now the high is supposed to be around 43 degrees. The Hawks final game of the regular season will be on the road in Lincoln against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. on Friday, November 29th. That one is set to kickoff at 1:30pm.
