Her album, her decision. Ariana Grande is defending her decision to name a song off her highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Sweetener, after her fiancรฉ, Pete Davidson.
The songstress released the track list for the album and among songs "No Tears Left to Cry," "The Light Is Coming,โ โGod Is a Woman," "Better Off," "Blazed, " "Borderline," "Breathin," "Everytime," "Get Well Soon," "Goodnight N Go," "Raindrops," "REM," "Successful,โ and โSweetenerโ is "Pete.โ
An Instagram user argued that Grande shouldnโt have named a song after her beau considering theyโve only been together for a couple months.
"He's my fiancรฉ,โ Grande responded in the comments section. โThis is my album. I'm an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn't for you, that's OK; I won't be offended. Still wishing y'all all the love in the world."
Other fans were quick to defend the track and show their excitement, sharing that they canโt wait to hear the song because "their love is so true and kind."

Sweetener drops August 17 and features collabs with Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams and Missy Elliott.
